Stuart Townsend (Born: December 15, 1972 in Howth, Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland-) is an Irish stage and film actor and boxer. He was fired from the Lord of the Rings as Aragorn after just four days of filming as they realized he was too young for the role. His work begun to be highlighted by critic and press after his appearances in "About Adam" and "Queen of the Damned" , this last one where he played the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt.
